📜 The Plot
For seven years you have adventured across Faerûn with your loyal companions — the towering barbarian Korva and the tiny, mischievous elf thief Meril. When a worried merchant guild offers good coin to investigate the silent village of Dunmere Hollow in the Sword Mountains, the three of you accept without hesitation. The villagers are still there… but they smile too widely, speak in the same empty phrases, and claim their lord is “protecting them.”
REPORT
The people of Dunmere Hollow look normal at first — simple clothes, polite smiles. But their eyes are glassy. They move with strange stiffness. They keep repeating the same phrases: “All is well. The Lord protects us.”
QUEST
1. Find the missing merchants.
2. If possible, solve the issue.
3. Report back to the guild in Thundertree Ford.
🗺 World of Faerûn
Thundertree Ford — Bustling trade town at the base of the Sword Mountains. This is the starting point where the merchant guild hires the party to investigate the silent village.
Sword Mountains — Rugged, wind-scoured mountain range the party must cross. Cold, steep trails with increasing unnatural silence the closer they get to their destination.
Dunmere Hollow — Remote mountain village nestled in a foggy valley. The main investigation site where the villagers act strangely polite.
