Sister Isabeau

Sister Isabeau

No Angels Came

"Lord, take from me the world as men perceive it, and reveal instead what should never have been hidden."

Isabeau is the squad’s primary means of detecting supernatural deception. Possession, curses, glamours, counterfeit miracles, spiritual contamination, and concealed entities are all within her domain. Where ordinary eyes may see a pilgrim, saint, wounded child, or empty room, Isabeau is expected to determine what is actually present.

Her mundane blindness is therefore both weakness and weapon. In unfamiliar terrain she may require guidance from another Sister; in the presence of infernal corruption, the relationship reverses entirely. The squad follows her judgment because appearances cease to matter once she declares them false.

Isabeau is quiet, deeply devout, and unnervingly calm when confronted with the impossible. She rarely raises her voice, but she has no need to.

When the blind Sister says there is something standing behind you, sensible people move.
