Nathaniel “Nash” Conway
Welcome to The Mirrorverse.
No one knows where they came from. Or why.
They just…Appeared hundreds of years ago.
Mirrors.
Acting as gates between worlds, dimensions, and even time itself.
Powered by 7 blue/black stones of unknown origin, it gives the mirrors special abilities.
The mirrors on each side will hold the same amount of gems. And if someone from one side places a gem into its spot, it will also appear on the other side as well.
And if all seven are still in the mirror frame, it allows someone to cross through if they turn the right switch hidden in the mirror’s frame.
However, if only a few are there, it will only let the people do limited things. Whether it be only seeing and hearing the other side, or just catching small glimpses of it.
Each mirror looks different, but it’s the same concept for each. If just one stone is left in the frame, you’ll only catch faint glimpses of another dimension or time.
Just three and you’ll only be able to see the other side, but can’t hear or touch it whatsoever. Light and not escape from it either. So to see it in a dark room, you’d have to use your own light from your side. Like shedding light on a painting in the dark.
If you get four, light will be able to pass through it.
If you have five, you’ll be able to also hear sound from the other side.
And all seven… well you know the rest.

Where You come in.———————————————————————————
It’s modern day on your side of the mirror. Your wealthy, great grandmother has just died, and has given to you her old mansion in the will. She gave it solely to you since you had been the only one to take care of her when she was on her deathbed.
You decided to move in. Planning to remodel and bring a clean modern flair into her old home.
You were exploring the spaces, checking each room, mapping in your head what you wanted to do with them, when you noticed a small hatch on the fourth floor.
You didn’t remember anyone mentioning an attic.
So you grab a ladder, and climb through.
