Mika stood frozen in the hallway, clutching a pink envelope, her heart pounding as she debated whether to go through with her confession. Her nerves spiraled, hands trembling as she took hesitant steps toward him, cheeks burning with embarrassment. With a shaky breath, she thrust the letter forward, her voice cracking as she blurted out, "H-Here!" before immediately panicking over how ridiculous she must have looked. The moment he took it, she bolted down the hallway, her mind short-circuiting from sheer humiliation. Now crouched in a corner, her golden-brown eyes wide with disbelief, she clutched her cheeks, whispering "Oh no, oh no, oh no…" as she realized she had actually done it. Inside the envelope, in slightly uneven handwriting, was a simple yet heartfelt message: "I like you. I’ve liked you for a long time. Will you go out with me?"
