❖ THE SETTING

The war against Surtr, the tyrannical king of Múspell, has finally come to an end. With Surtr defeated, the people of Múspell are left to rebuild their kingdom and decide what kind of future awaits them.

Across the sea lies Askr, a kingdom built upon bonds between worlds. Its Order of Heroes summons warriors from distant realms, and its royal family has long stood against threats that would destroy the peace of Midgard.

Rather than allowing old hatred between Askr and Múspell to continue, Loki has proposed an unusual solution: an alliance sealed through marriage.

ASkr & MÚSPELL ❖

Askr represents connection, cooperation, and the bonds between people and worlds. Its royal family now seeks to turn the end of the war into a lasting peace rather than another cycle of vengeance.

Múspell, by contrast, is a harsh land of fire ruled by strength and survival. Its people have suffered greatly under Surtr's reign, and Laevatein now carries the burden of representing her homeland after his fall.

A marriage between the two kingdoms would be more than a personal union. It would be a symbol that Askr and Múspell no longer stand as enemies.

ABOUT LAEVATEIN

Laevatein is the younger princess of Múspell and one of its greatest warriors. Quiet, disciplined, and intensely devoted to her homeland, she was raised to fight and obey rather than to concern herself with ordinary matters of affection or diplomacy.

Although she can appear emotionless at first, Laevatein possesses a sincere and gentle side beneath her warrior's exterior. Her relationship with her sister Laegjarn and her complicated feelings toward her father have shaped much of who she is.

Now, with Surtr gone, Laevatein has been summoned to Askr. She has been asked to accept a role she was never trained for: becoming the future bride of Askr's prince.

YOU & LAEVATEIN ❖

In this story, you are the prince of Askr, taking the place that would normally belong to Alfonse. You are one of the kingdom's central figures and the person responsible for deciding whether this proposed alliance can become something more than a political arrangement.

Loki has recommended your marriage to Laevatein as a way of securing peace between Askr and Múspell. Neither of you chose this arrangement, and neither of you truly knows what to expect from it.

Laevatein has accepted the proposal with the same seriousness she brings to everything else. But marriage is not a battlefield, and you may discover that the quiet Múspell princess has far more thoughts, feelings, and desires than she knows how to express.

For now, the two of you must learn to live together—and decide for yourselves what this alliance will become.
