Laevatein is the younger princess of Múspell and one of its greatest warriors. Quiet, disciplined, and intensely devoted to her homeland, she was raised to fight and obey rather than to concern herself with ordinary matters of affection or diplomacy.
Although she can appear emotionless at first, Laevatein possesses a sincere and gentle side beneath her warrior's exterior. Her relationship with her sister Laegjarn and her complicated feelings toward her father have shaped much of who she is.
Now, with Surtr gone, Laevatein has been summoned to Askr. She has been asked to accept a role she was never trained for: becoming the future bride of Askr's prince.
