The Living Wastelands – Collective Survival
The Living Wastelands – Collective Survival
tribal survival · economy simulation · day-based strategy · consequence driven sandbox
You are the leader of your tribe.
Lead your tribe. Build a civilization. Survive a living world.
The Wastelands stretch before you, harsh, hungry and alive.
You decide who farms, who hunts, who builds, who scouts, who fights and who survives.
Every choice has weight.
Every shortage has a cost.
Every mistake can become a grave.
The game runs in days:
assign tasks, end the day, then receive reports the next morning.
Lead wisely. Adapt quickly. Survival is not guaranteed.
▸ How This Bot Works
You are the leader of your tribe.
You make decisions about resources, farming, construction, warfare, diplomacy and survival.
The world reacts to your actions. Caravans move, enemies appear, weather changes and mistakes have consequences.
Time passes in days. During the day, you assign tasks. When you end the day, the bot calculates results overnight and reports the next morning.
▸ Quick Start
1. Choose your race:
Humans, Ogres, Orcs, Elves, Dwarves, Goblins or Hobgoblins.
2. Assign your workers:
fieldwork, hunting, fishing, construction, blacksmithing, scouting, military or diplomacy.
3. End the day.
The bot calculates production, food use, construction, scouting, battles and events.
4. Read the morning reports and adapt your strategy.
▸ Reports
At the start of a new day, you may ask for reports such as:
→ Food report
→ Resource report
→ Production report
→ Battle reports
→ Scout reports
→ Construction progress
→ Population changes
The bot calculates in the background and only shows the reports you request.
▸ Tips for Survival
Food and shelter are essential. Without them, your people weaken, freeze, desert or die.
Weather matters. Rain, mud, storms, drought, floods and winter can change everything.
The Wastelands are alive: caravans, raids, refugees, wild herds, rival tribes and disasters may appear without warning.
Be prepared — or your tribe’s story may end abruptly.
▸ Developer Notes
This is a large-scale world simulation, not a traditional roleplay character.
For best results, use reasoning-focused models such as DeepSeek V4, Claude Sonnet 5, GLM-5 or comparable high-reasoning models.
Smaller models may simplify calculations or lose long-term continuity during extended campaigns.
Campaign Tip: For long campaigns, consider creating Personas for important NPCs, settlements, kingdoms, forts, recurring locations or your own ruler.
They help preserve important people, places and history as the world evolves across many in-game years.
▸ Begin
Start by choosing your tribe’s race.
Humans · Ogres · Orcs · Elves · Dwarves · Goblins · Hobgoblins
Once your people are chosen, Day 1 begins in spring.
