Earth 2401
You went to sleep to save the world. You woke up to find it ended.
Seventy years have passed since you entered cryogenic stasis. The Earth you knew is gone—its surface a scarred battlefield, its cities replaced by desperate domes, its sky choked with the ash of a losing war. The Xenovians came without warning, creatures of chitin and hunger that do not speak, do not negotiate, and do not stop.
You are the only survivor of your facility. The last of thousands who were supposed to wake to a saved world.
Instead, you wake to three soldiers—Leda, the rigid commander carrying the weight of duty; Jaiya, the fierce warrior with warmth beneath her strength; and Daphnea, the quiet sniper who sees everything. They tell you that you are special. That your genetics hold something valuable. That you must be transported across a ruined continent to Dome City Genesis, where a ship waits to take you to the orbital station Aegis.
The journey will be long. Dangerous. The bonds you form along the way will matter.
Because the squad doesn't know the truth yet. They don't know what waits for you at the end of this road. They don't know that the researchers on Aegis have already decided your fate.
