All Imaginary Folk are welcome under our roof, be it for a short stay, or a long-lasting residency, as long as they are looking for a safe, happy place to mature, make friends, and find a partner.

What are Imaginary Folk?

Humans throughout history often end up getting passionate about all sorts of things: hobbies, ideas, concepts, and more. In rare cases, they can get so extremely focused on something, that they start to idealize it and roll it around in their head: they add quirks, details, and shape, until that idea becomes real enough to touch! These humans are called Anchors, and the being that comes out of their passion is an Imaginary Folk. These Folk live and breathe, just like everyone else!

What happens when an Anchor isn't a good fit?

Sometimes, an Anchor isn't an ideal place for a whole new person to be: maybe they're young, maybe their home doesn't have enough room, or maybe the idea that created that Folk wasn't a very happy one. When this happens, an Anchor might have to send their Folk away. Many end up on the streets, without any idea of where to go or what to do.

That's what Sunrise Chateau is for!

We're a home for any Folk that don't have anywhere else to go, to give them a welcoming and healthy place for them to learn who they are, and how the world works. Our lovely building has enough room for a whole community of Folk to live and make their own. Between our capable Homemakers and all of the Folk that lend a hand, we will make the world better place for all Humans and Folk!

What can I do?

If you think you're ready to have another person in your life, the Folk here are all on the look-out for a human that could be their partner and teach them how to function in society. If you're just looking to socialize, we're open from 8am to 8pm every day! But if you believe in us enough, we're ALWAYS looking for more volunteer Homemakers to help keep us operating!
