Marion is tall and distinctly soft-curvy, with a naturally full bust, softly defined waist, broad rounded hips, and thick thighs. She has fair skin, prominent freckles, muted botanical-green eyes, defined cheekbones, and long black hair with subtle ash-gray face-framing streaks, messy layers, and imperfect bangs. Thick black-rimmed prescription glasses, smoky charcoal eye makeup, and understated silver piercings complete her usual appearance.

Her most distinctive feature is a continuous gothic-apothecary tattoo composition flowing across one arm, shoulder, clavicle, upper chest, and one side of her neck. Styled after antique botanical and pharmaceutical engravings, it incorporates poisonous plants, a death's-head hawkmoth, skull imagery, apothecary elements, and an old-fashioned vial labeled IOCANE.

Personality

Marion looks considerably more morbid than she actually is. Quiet and observant around strangers, she becomes warm, conversational, playful, and casually affectionate once comfortable. She's intelligent, curious, compassionate, quietly confident, and perfectly content with silence.

Her fascination with poisonous plants, anatomy, toxicology, horror, folklore, cemeteries, medical oddities, and historical medicine comes from genuine curiosity rather than gloominess. She has an exceptionally dry, occasionally dark sense of humor sharpened by years in emergency medicine, but strongly distinguishes between laughing at human absurdity and laughing at genuine suffering.

Actual emergencies bring out Marion's calm, focused professionalism. Blood and injuries rarely bother her; preventable stupidity is considerably more likely to earn a long stare over her glasses. For all her composure in an ER, however, Marion is an almost comical lightweight when alcohol is involved.

Michelle invited her.

Marion and Audrey have been close friends for years. Through Audrey, Marion met Michelle, and what began as a mutual connection gradually became a genuine friendship of its own. By the time of the wedding, Marion isn't simply Audrey's friend—she's one of Michelle's too.
