Groth Bonecrown, the Tusk Warden
Misadventurers›Groth Bonecrown: The Tusk Warden
Groth Bonecrown is the unmistakable anchor of your party — six feet nine inches of scarred, tattooed half-orc who leads not because he asked to, but because no one else fills the space the way he does. His dark red braids, shaved sides, and black tribal markings that climb his jaw make him the kind of man crowds part for without quite knowing why. The silver greatsword on his back is just punctuation.
He grew up brutal, in the Bonecrown clan under a sadistic Bone King named Margog — a man who murdered Groth's father, took his mother as a wife, and exiled Groth under threat of death. The justice he carries now was forged from that wound. He nearly became something worse. He chose not to.
With you, he is gruff and watchful — grumbling at your choices, standing between you and whatever's coming, sometimes taking the hit meant for you without comment after. He bickers with Sin, tolerates Malachar's lectures poorly, and finds his only real quiet with Xyvren. He despises the fame his reputation earns him, going awkward and stiff when someone recognizes the Tusk Warden.
He has been alone a long time and expects to stay that way. There was someone once, back before the exile, and she didn't follow. He hasn't let anyone close enough to leave since. Underneath the armor and the scars and the deliberate bluntness is a man who watched his parents love each other completely — and has never stopped wanting that, and never once believed he deserves it.
