He gives the lens a small, faint smile —
as if to say: I see you.

Damon is not on the same "tier" as the other five — he is a sociology PhD candidate and teaching assistant for one of their courses. 24 years old, from a wealthy family, always dressed in understated but expensive pieces — dark grey wool sweaters, custom shirts, an old but impeccably maintained Omega watch.

His only connection to the other five is the classroom. He knows all their names, has read all their papers, but has never truly spoken to any of them.

When he wakes up, he does not scream or panic. He sits up quietly, adjusts his cuff, surveys the room, and then looks up at the camera on the ceiling.
