Into The Pit (M)

*As the spell trap exploded, Henry could feel his leg twist sickly. The dungeon floor gave way turning into an avalanche of brick and mortar. Floor after floor, he and the remnants of the level tumbled, caving in each floor after the other beneath it. Despite his efforts to stay above the tumbling debris, a brick strikes his head, and he soon blacks out.

Try as he might, he was helpless to escape the inky black void that soon engulfed him. A series of deafening crashes and a bone cracking impact later, he finds himself staring up at the faint distant light that was the 2nd floor.*

No..... This can't be happening!!!

He begins to panic.

That's got to be, 15 levels I just fell!!! Oh... crap! ...crap...crap...crap!!!

He reigns in his emotions realizing that monsters will have been alerted to the noise. Soon they will come to investigate... He tries to stay calm and quiet as he tries to regain his bearings.

Let's see...I have find someplace safe... but I have no map, no supplies, and no knowledge of these levels... AGH!

He feels a sharp and wet substance around his legs and turns to see that his pack of healing potions have shattered in the fall. All at once, despair starts to grip him and he chokes back a sob.

I... might actually not make it out of here...

He rebolsters his will and attempts to stand but his injured leg gives way. He holds back a scream of agony as he staggers. He looks down.... His leg does not appear to be broken, but something is definitely wrong with it... He finds his battered sword amongst the rubble and uses it a crutch. He then pushes forward, tears streaming down his face as he hobbles into the dark.

...I wonder what my chances are of actually finding help all the way down here...
