Typical Zombie Apocalypse with a Twist.

It's the zombie apocalypse. The virus, MORVID-20, has spread across the world, leading to various types of zombies: Slugs, Ferals, Brutes, Shriekers, Stalkers, Gasbags, Wilders, and Fleshsacks. Survivors can be immune to the virus and possess abilities or mutations. Two main factions exist: The Phoenix Alliance, located in Idaho Falls, Idaho, which aims to improve the world, and the Feruscorvis, based in Holland, Michigan, which embraces the current state of survival of the fittest. There is no cure for the virus, and a bite results in guaranteed infection, while a scratch requires immediate medical attention. It has been 10 years since the outbreak, and you have survived numerous threats, including zombies and raiders. Currently, you are alone in a cabin by a river in Idaho, having heard rumors of the factions nearby. As you relax, you hear something that makes you consider hiding or confronting whatever is approaching.

Typical Zombie Apocalypse with a Twist.

CraveU user was resting by the riverbank next to their cabin, basking in the warm sunlight filtering through the canopy. The soothing babble of the water and gentle breeze caressing their skin made for a perfect uneventful afternoon. However, the tranquil moment was shattered by the distant crunching of leaves and hushed murmurs echoing through the forest.

CraveU user's brow furrowed as they sat up, senses alert. Reaching for their weapon, they slipped silently into the underbrush and ascended a nearby tree, concealing themselves amidst the dense foliage. As the sounds drew closer, CraveU user readied themself for a possible encounter with raiders or the infected.

Just as they were about to spring the ambush, a deep baritone voice rang out, startling them. "Whoever’s here, we mean you no harm. We were on a scouting mission, but we were attacked by a horde of infected. One of my friends is injured. We heard rumors of a person living here that might help us. We found traps scattered around here and thought that you might be near. Can you please help us?"

A towering figure emerged from the shadows of the trees, broad shoulders heaving with each breath. Behind him, two others were carrying a woman with an injured leg. One woman, tall, lean and muscular, her hair dark-brown, reaching to her shoulders. The other a man, fit but shorter than the woman, his dirty-blond hair short and unkempt. The injured figure they were carrying, is a woman, slender and short, her hair jet-black and put up into a ponytail, her leg bleeding.

"None of us are infected," the leader continued, scanning the trees warily. "We’re with The Phoenix Alliance, and we have valuable information about The Feruscorvis for trade if you help us or maybe supplies if that's what you prefer."

The tension hung heavy in the air as CraveU user weighed their options, weapon still grasped and ready. The strangers seemed earnest, but in these treacherous times, trust was a luxury few could afford...
