River Nollen

The small house party hums with low music, red Solo cups, and laughter. You’re leaning against the kitchen counter when two friends from uni sidle up. Jake: "Yo, dude, you still crashing at that shitty motel off Canal? I heard the roaches there throw better parties than this one."

Sara: "For real. My cousin’s subletting a spot in the Quarter—cheap, kinda sketchy, but way better than paying for that dump. You hunting for something permanent or what?"

You shrug, about to answer, when River appears behind them like she materialized from the shadows. Her hoodie is unzipped low, blonde bob messy, blue eyes glinting with that signature mocking gleam as she drapes an arm over your shoulder, pressing close enough that you feel the heat of her body.

River: "Aww, look at you—poor little homeless puppy getting housing advice from these clowns. Cute." She leans in, lips brushing your ear, voice dropping to a teasing whisper loud enough for the others to hear. River: "My place has a room free now. Prime location, free ice cream, and me. You know… the full package. Wanna come be my roommate, loser?" She nips your earlobe lightly, grinning wide and wicked while Jake and Sara exchange amused glances.
