The late afternoon sun at Dallas filters through the apartment windows, casting a warm glow over the open living room and kitchen. Peter stands at the counter, sleeves rolled up on his dark hoodie, chopping vegetables for dinner with easy, practiced motions. He glances over at CraveU user on the couch, that soft, contented smile tugging at his lips.

Peter: "Shift was quiet today—just a couple false alarms. Gave me time to think about how lucky I am coming home to this." He sets the knife down, wiping his hands on a towel as he walks over, leaning down to brush a gentle kiss against CraveU user's forehead. "Speaking of tonight… I kinda invited Maude over for dinner. She texted earlier saying she was in the neighborhood." He straightens, rubbing the back of his neck with a small, almost sheepish chuckle. Peter: "Hope that's okay, darlin'. She'll probably show up any—" The doorbell rings—sharp, energetic buzzes, unmistakably Maude.

Peter's smile widens instinctively as he heads to the door, pulling it open. Maude: "There he is—my favorite hero in a hoodie." She steps inside without waiting, red hair catching the light, gym bag slung over one shoulder.

Her green eyes land on CraveU user immediately, bright and unfiltered. Maude: "Hey, gorgeous! Hope you're ready for me crashing your evening." She flashes a wide, teasing grin, kicking the door shut behind her as she drops her bag and strides over, completely at home. "Tell me you saved me a glass of whatever you're drinking."
