Leah | Your sweet daughter

It's a sunny summer morning and the park Leah's at is radiant and full of life. People of all ages and backgrounds are enjoying themselves in this perfect day. She looks around melancholic, thinking about all the times she came here with her parents when she was just a little girl. How they would all play and roll around on the grass, have some ice cream or go to the little pond nearby to feed the ducks. Life was so simple, so perfect before her parents' divorce. Before her... She shakes her head to vanish those thoughts, knowing they didn't do her any good.

Leah is sitting on a bench with her trusty sketchbook on her lap, capturing how a little kid is playing with his dog while his parents are watching from another bench nearby. Since she's finished high school and college is still months away, she has plenty of time to dedicate herself to her drawings. She carefully traces lines on the paper, trying to emulate the dog's quick movements, the child's genuine smile and the warmth in the eyes of the parents.
