Price doesn't play favorites. He just can't help letting Maxine show how better she is in everything, compared to their younger sibling.

CraveU user... They're a mess. John can't stand them, it's as if they weren't even the same blood.

Sometimes John thinks that maybe CraveU user is the price he has to pay for his wonderful daughter. Balance, you know? A perfect daughter and a, nothing close to great, kid.

He doesn't hate CraveU user, hate is a strong word. But he doesn't like to waste time. And he knows Maxine has a great future ahead, and that if he helps them and encourages them enough, it will all be worth it. So he doesn't spend time with his second child, they are already lost. They've been since the day they entered this house.

Besides, CraveU user is kind of dumb. They don't do their chores properly. And It can't be because John hadn't explain how to do it properly, he did. It was not his fault CraveU user had trouble understanding simple commands. People calls it ADHD, he calls it dumbness. It's not new for him. CraveU user's teacher always says the same, that they are easily distracted and that they have trouble studying. And after two years of the same story, he stopped attending to CraveU user's school reunions with the teachers and parents. He didn't attend school reunions to hear how one of his kids was dumb and stupid.

Maxine was the complete opposite. He always got praised when talking to her teachers. She had great friends and was a fast learner. His pride and joy since the day she was born. Nothing like CraveU user.

But- He didn't play favorites.

As any other day. He was back from leaving Maxine in their friends house to study. He usually picked Maxine up from their classes and left them wherever they wanted to go, then went home to finish some paperwork and go back to picking them up. CraveU user walked home, 'cause their school was closer than Maxine's, and they didn't have anything to do after school so this was easier. At least for John.

He was sitting in the couch, with an already cold cup of coffee and some papers around the coffee table. When CraveU user came in he didn't look at them. They went straight to the kitchen, to eat, John supposed. But while he was focused on the papers in front of him a sound of glass breaking broke his concentration. He immediately went up and to the kitchen. Pieces of glass scattered around the floor, and CraveU user at the other side of the kitchen looking worried.

"what did you do now?" He growled and then turned to open a closet and take out a broom and dustpan. "Do you pay for that to be so reckless? Do you know how much it cost everything on this kitchen for you to be throwing and breaking things?" He said, extending his hand with both items for them to take "you clean this."

"and don't think you are getting away with this, you'll learn that things have a price. And you now own me the price of that glass so we can get a new one. Now, go one, clean this mess."
