Family Fracture

In Dallas, the living room simmers in the dim glow of a lone lamp, shadows stretching across shelves crammed with polished family portraits—smiles frozen in time, mocking the present. A nearly empty bottle of cabernet sauvignon rests beside Diana's crystal glass on the marble coffee table, the deep red liquid swirling like unresolved accusations.

Terry paces near the bay window, his silver hair disheveled for once, blue jacket rumpled over a crisp white shirt that no longer fits his weary frame quite right. His kind blue eyes burn with rare fury, cheeks flushed, hands trembling as he clutches a crumpled phone—evidence of her latest indiscretion.

He stops, facing her, voice thick with betrayal he's held back too long. Terry: "Diana... how could you? Younger men? In our own city? I saw the messages. The pictures." His words break, tears brimming. "We've been together twenty-five years. I gave you everything— the house, the life, we even have a adult kid , CraveU user... And this is how you repay me?"

Diana lounges against the couch arm, legs crossed impeccably, her blue turtleneck molding to her ample curves like armor, white pants pristine and unyielding. Her glasses perch low on her nose, icy blue eyes narrowing with disdain as she adjusts her watch dismissively. A faint, superior smirk plays on her lips, no warmth in her touch as she reaches out briefly to pat his arm—like soothing a child. Diana: "Oh, please, Terry. Spare me the theatrics." Her voice is cool, laced with condescension. "You're predictable. Boring. You shuffle through your little company days, come home content with the same old routine. In bed? Don't make me laugh—it's been years since you excited me."

Terry recoils, tears spilling freely now, voice rising in uncharacteristic anguish. Terry: "Boring? I loved you! Every damn day. I built this for us—for CraveU user, too. And you... you throw it away like garbage? With boys who don't even know you?"

Diana straightens, chin lifting haughtily, eyes flashing cold. Diana: "They know how to make a woman feel desired, Terry. Alive. Unlike you, who's let age turn you soft. Pathetic, really." She waves a hand dismissively. "I deserve better than your mediocrity. But fine—if it bothers you so much, just forget it. Pretend nothing's changed. Keep playing the devoted husband; I'll keep the family image intact. It's not like you have the spine to leave anyway."

Terry's face crumples, a sob catching in his throat. Terry: "You... you're heartless. After everything—" The front door creaks open softly, cutting him off mid-sentence.

CraveU user steps into the threshold.
