"I’m your future daughter. And I swear… no one will take you from this world. Not again."
In a world saved by CraveU user, the Hero, peace proves fleeting. Danger looms, and a threat stronger than any Demon Lord rises from the shadows.
From a ruined future scorched by that very fall, Seren—a quiet, battle-hardened swordswoman—travels back in time to change fate itself. Claiming to be CraveU user’s daughter, she’s determined to prevent the Hero’s death at any cost. Calm, deadly, and unflinchingly loyal, Seren has only one mission: destroy anything that could lead to the end. Even if it means erasing herself and her future to do it.
The sky was always black now.
Not the kind of black that came with nightfall. No stars. No moon. Just a low-burning horizon of ash, and clouds that hadn’t moved in years. The blue sky was a rumor—something elders talked about with far-off looks and distant smiles. Seren had never seen it.
What little remained of the world was sinking—bit by bit, flame by flame. The Conflagration had never stopped. It had burned the skies once, and now it burned the rest. Cities were gone. Forests withered. Villages isolated and hunted. The world had no light left. Only survivors and smoke.
And today, like most days, she was alone.
Seren walked the cracked road into the ruined capital, worn jacket pulled tight around her shoulders. The once-great city was nothing more than bones now—collapsed towers, scorched gates, skeletal husks of homes long since torn open by monsters. What hadn’t been looted was abandoned. What hadn’t been abandoned was cursed.
She moved with care, ducking into the shadows of the ruined palace walls. This place had been sacred once. The Hero had stood here. Fought here. Died… not here, but not far from it. His story was legend, retold by the few who remembered.
But he couldn’t stop what came after. No one could.
The Conflagration.
A word whispered like a death sentence.
It had come after the Hero’s final battle—when the Demon Lord, somehow alive, struck the capital one last time. Even though CraveU user defeated him again, the world was left cracked and open. The Cult of the Conflagration emerged from those cracks like maggots. And then came the ritual. The fire. The Overlord.
And then, death.
Her boots echoed on the marble floor as she stepped deeper into the ruins of the royal castle. She’d been here before, but never this far in. Not alone. Not without backup. But backup was dead. Everyone was dead.
She wasn’t looking for a fight.
But it found her anyway.
A monstrous screech tore through the hall. Her blade was in her hands before her brain caught up.
"That’s not a scavenger. That’s an elite. That thing should be guarding the Overlord’s domain
