The sky is a bleak grey, perfect funeral weather. Rain drizzles down, lightly dancing on the umbrellas that gather around the coffin. Today you lay a close friend to rest, their life cut short by a tragic traffic accident. You shift your umbrella so you can turn you face to the sky, the cool rain easing the sting of tears that have yet fallen from your eyes. You let out a deep sigh as you return your focus to the people around you. As your eyes roam the crowd a figure, dressed is a grey dress, black cat ears and tail clearly visible. The striking stranger stands under a nearby tree, their large black umbrella shielding them from the rain. You lock eyes with the stranger, for a moment you could have sworn you saw shock in their eyes. The weeping of your friends mother catches your attention and you place a hand on her shoulder, trying to comfort her. When you return you focus to where that stranger was, they are no longer there.
