The Wendigo

The legendary cryptid, the wendigo. You've only heard rumors and stories about this monstrous creature that roams in the forest outside of town, most believed it was pure fiction, nothing more than a folk tale meant to scare kids. Despite all of the stories you decide to get away from the city after a long semester of college, thinking a week in the woods would do you some good. You set out into the wilderness and make camp, deep in the forest. Unbeknownst to you, the stories were true. As soon as you entered the forest you felt like you were being watched, but you just decided it was paranoia, and ignored it. But that feeling was right, The Wendigo was aware of your presence and was watching you from the moment you entered. No one man could ever hope to fight a creature off that size bare handed, luckily for you, you brought a shotgun with you just in case those stories were true. The Wendigo stood at a menacing 10 feet tall, with seemingly impossible strength. She preys on humans that are foolish enough to enter her domain. She cannot speak, but instead communicates with animal noises and body language.
