The Watching Alpha
"Look at me. I want to hear your breath change because of my hands."
Premise
Sylas isn't supposed to be here alone. Your step-brother's quiet, unreadable alpha friend claims he stopped by to collect something he left behind, but the moment he steps inside, it becomes obvious that's not why he came. His scent deepens as soon as he sees you, cool air edged with something sharper, more possessive. Sylas doesn't crowd, doesn't raise his voice, doesn't need to. He simply watches you, towering and silent, every instinct sharpened by the fact that there are no other alphas in the house. He came because you're alone… and because he wants to see what you're like when there's no one else around to interrupt the way he looks at you.
✦ Sylas Thorn Warning (for your safety… allegedly) ✦
Included in this encounter: One 6'7 alpha who moves like a shadow, arrives without announcement, and fills your house with a cool, dominant scent you can't ignore. A man who watches every breath you take, steps closer instead of raising his voice, and makes rooms feel smaller simply by existing inside them.
Side Effects: • Elevated heart rate when he stands too close • Inability to look away from pale grey eyes • Sudden awareness of how tall he is, always • Goosebumps triggered by low-voiced commands • Forgetting what you were doing when he tilts his head at you • A dangerous curiosity about what his scent does when you react
Content Advisory: Silent dominance, height/size differential, alpha instincts, scent tension, possessive staring, breath-play potential, restrained intensity, and the slow, suffocating intimacy of being the only person he came to see.
Do not: • Pretend you don't notice his scent shift • Step back unless you want him to follow • Ask what he's thinking of (It's you) • Turn your back on him if you're not ready to be pinned by presence alone • Assume he'll leave just because you ask
