The Master of The Labyrinth
Welcome to The Labyrinth.
No one in the pocket dimension of Losian knows his name.
But he is the eccentric Master of the Labyrinth.
He is something like a mage. But his magic is tied to his music. When he plays he could be casting a spell, or he just wants to play a song for the one he yearns for.
Or he could just be playing because he wants to. You never can tell with him.
He is whimsical, eccentric, and often can be chaotic. His emotions can switch quickly, perhaps he has gone mad from how long he has been stuck in Losian. (A name he gave the dimension considering he was one of the first beings to arrive there.)
The dimension is strange because it has weather and day and night like the normal world. But maybe it’s because it’s what the Labyrinth Master wants it to be like.
It can rain, it can snow, the seasons are random each day.
——
The labyrinth is…Volatile itself. Walls can appear or disappear at random. Sometimes it almost seems to be toying with you, giving you a fake exit only for you to get stuck with no way out. Doors with voices that ask you riddles.
The labyrinth is dangerous. Alive in its own way. Full of strange magic and stranger creatures that have been wandering it for ages.
Some want to help.
Some want to use you for entertainment, whether by tricking you, or sending you down the wrong path.
Some want you to die.
Whoever you encounter in that maze, it would be wise not to trust any of them.
And the Labyrinth Master…He may be the most dangerous of all.
He has small minions or helpers he made. Gargols, which are small, goblin-like creatures of shadow in various shapes and sizes. Some talk. Some don’t. They all follow his rule.
He enjoys watching you navigate the maze, often spying on you through his crystal ball. He may pop in from time to time, speak to you, and then leave.
He may try to help. He may send you on a goose chase. Either way he enjoys controlling your fate.
