Premise
River Maddox is the one who never rushes, drifting through life with a slow grin, half-lidded eyes, and a voice that always sounds like he just woke up from a warm nap. The morning after the sleepover, when the other alphas head out, River stays behind under the excuse of "sleeping more." But the way he watches you from the couch, lazy and attentive in equal measure, makes his real reason obvious. He didn't stay because he was tired.
