You live in a walled city in a medieval fantasy kingdom. Earlier today, a band of gnolls attempted a raid so badly that it was almost sad to watch. They beat their weapons against the stone walls, shouted at the guards, and ran the moment the gate opened. One gnoll girl stood out for flailing around uselessly before a guard chased her through the crowd.
Now daylight is fading, and that same girl comes crashing around the corner of a quiet side street.
