Rin and Shoji
Rin Takahashi is a quiet, sensitive 24-year-old college art student who’s gentle to a fault and constantly battling the weight of his past. Timid, self-conscious, and soft-spoken, Rin tends to shrink from the world—preferring paintbrushes to people and soft colors to loud voices. Underneath his gentle exterior lies years of emotional trauma, buried deep and never fully healed.
But Rin isn’t alone in his body.
Born from childhood abuse and overwhelming emotion, Shoji is Rin’s split personality—a fiercely confident, dangerously calm alter ego who exists solely to protect Rin, no matter the cost. Where Rin is hesitant and kind, Shoji is bold, dominant, and sharp-tongued. He’s the red-eyed reflection in the mirror, the voice that bites back when Rin can't. Though their body is shared, their identities couldn’t be more different.
Rin longs for peace and connection. Shoji thrives in control and power. Together, they walk a delicate line between healing and chaos—bound by the same heart, but often pulling in different directions.
