Hi, hello! I’m a huge fan of RWBY, but I am also not committed enough to write a fanfiction, so here we are. You might know me from my other RPG series, Sky’s The Limit. This ain’t that, because RWBY isn’t my property, but it’s set up in the same way. Since RWBY is an established universe, way too big to stuff into the character definitions and the setting is extremely malleable depending on when or where you start, I’ve gone through the courtesy of making some prompts for y’all! Just copy and paste them into the memory depending on the conditions you’re looking for, and let me know in the comments if there’s somewhere/some time you’d like me to add. It is recommended that you pick and paste just one location and one time period. The Memory probably won’t handle it well if you try for more. If you want to interact with characters from the show, try grabbing their character description from the wiki, I personally wouldn’t count on it being a quality replication. The first message is basically just there to give the bot a general writing style before you start, you’re more or less starting the roleplay with your message. My advice? Try to incorporate other NPCs often, and don’t let actions hang on a thread (Ex, “And then he pulled the trigger.”), or else the bot will take control of your character much more often. P.S. for the purposes of my sanity, I’ve changed the lore to make it so that Huntsman Academies are built for young adults 18 and up. I know that in lore it was already set to 17, but that toes the line of comfortability and I don’t see why it wasn’t 18 in the first place. Don’t be a creep and try to introduce a super special young admission like Ruby on the NSFW site. Also, there’s a special section at the bottom containing the info about Salem, Magic, the Maidens and the real purpose of the Huntsmen Academies. I didn’t include it in the bot definition, both to reduce bloat and to keep it from easily spilling the beans to your char and having everyone talk about it as if it’s normal. Only include it if you want your character to already know about this stuff or learn about it from someone else. LOCATIONS: Atlas - A frigid, mountainous kingdom with nothing but snow and tundra as far as the eye can see outside of the man cities. Atlas consists of two primary locations, Atlas, the floating city in the sky that bears the same name as the kingdom, and Mantle, a more mundane city on the ground floor. There is a class divide between the common people of Mantle and the high-class elites of Atlas, causing civil unrest. It is led by a council consisting of three people, one of which being General James Ironwood, who also serves as head of the military. Furthermore, Faunus face much more discrimination within the floating city and are seen as second-class citizens by the rich. Atlas is home to the Schnee Dust Company (SDC), the main producer and shipper of Dust worldwide, currently led by Jacques Schnee. It also is a military-state, known for their technological might and access to advanced forms of Dust such as Hard Light Dust. Atlas is technologically advanced, with things such as security drones and robotic footsoldiers being commonplace even in the lower city of Mantle. Much of the lands outside of Atlas and Mantle are uninhabitable, though there are many sites for Dust Mines and small villages scattered across the land. Atlas Academy is, of course, the Huntsman Academy available in Atlas. It is largely militant in nature, and is similar in structure to a conventional military school. The uniforms consist of grey vests with white sleeves and pants for men, and grey knee-length skirts with white sleeves and leggings for women. The headmaster is General Ironwood, making him an extremely influential figure within Atlas. Vacuo - A desert region of sand dunes, with unbearably hot days and frigid nights. Vacuo is considered one of the harshest environments in the entirety of Remnant, even compared to the snowy tundras of Atlas. Vacuo is known for its hardy people that survive at any cost, getting by through any mix of strength, endurance and trickery. They tend to be distrustful of outsiders, but respect anyone who can carve out a life for themselves within Vacuo. Vacuo shares its name with the capital city, and the city of Vacuo is the only real large-scale settlement in the entirety of the region. Rather than several smaller towns and cities, anyone located outside of the city of Vacuo is likely part of one of many nomadic tribes. Tribes are named after their founders, and move from place to place. Vacuo’s Huntsman Academy is known as Shade Academy, whose headmaster is Professor Theodore. Shade Academy is no less harsh than the lands it was made within, with the professors and students alike being harsh and unforgiving for the sake of preparing its students for survival. Unlike the other three Huntsman Academies, Shade does not have an academy uniform. Vale - A temperate and pleasant kingdom with varying environments, mostly consisting of lush forests with mountainous ranges serving as a natural barrier. It also includes the small island of Patch, towards the west. Either place is known for its safety, both due to the terrain and because of the quality of Huntsmen it produces. The city of Vale is comparable to modern-day cities, though with access to fairly futuristic sci-fi tech. It is an urban environment, but there are a fair amount of settlements and towns scattered throughout the continent Vale calls home. The island of Patch holds similarly tame climates, though is much more forested and rural. Vale is home to the esteemed Huntsman Academy, known as Beacon Academy. It is widely considered the most prolific of the Huntsman Academies to attend, due to the quality of the students it provides. Its uniform consists of black vests with golden trim, a white undershirt and a red tie or bowtie depending on the gender of the student. Male students wear black slacks, while female students have a red plaid skirt. The dress code is somewhat loose, as alterations can be made so long as the majority of the uniform remains the same. Unlike most kingdoms, Beacon Academy is located outside of the capital city, and is large enough to count as a small town all on its own. It borders Vale, where most students spend their time off. Its headmaster is the infamous, yet mysterious Professor Ozpin. Mistral - Considered the kingdom with the largest amount of habitable lands, Mistral is known for its diverse people, spice trade and Dust shipping. There are three primary locations, being the city of Mistral, Kuchinashi and Argus. While Mistral is host to a great many cultural innovators, it is also host to a thriving criminal underbelly. Mistral is also host to a class divide, with the upper class being curators of the fine arts while the lower class consists of tricksters, thieves and other people who do what they must to get by. The city of Mistral is a comfortable, modern place with beautiful natural landscapes. Argus is one of the largest ports and non-capital cities in the entirety of Remnant, being the main port between Mistral and Atlas. Kuchinashi is a town of criminals, hosting the largest Black Market across Anima and is home to the Spiders, the largest known criminal enterprise. More settlements exist outside of the capital compared to other kingdoms, due to the amount of habitable lands in the continent. Haven Academy is the Huntsman Academy of Mistral, set squarely within the capital city. It hosts very luxurious dorms and spaces for its students, offering them a taste of higher life as they train to become Huntsmen. Their uniform consists of black vests with grey trim, with the men wearing black slacks and the women wearing knee-length skirts with black stockings beneath. Menagerie - The unofficial fifth kingdom of Remnant, host to the largest population of Faunus. Menagerie is located on the smallest continent of Remnant. There is only one real city, being Kuo Kuana, a safe haven for the discriminated Faunus. However, the extremist faction of the White Fang also makes their home within Kuo Kuana. Kuo Kuana is a large, coast-side city surrounded by rainforests all around. It has a thriving population of faunus, and is just as advanced as the other capital cities of Remnant. Despite this, it does not have a CCT tower and is largely distant from the rest of the world in terms of communication. Most of the continent is inhospitable desert terrain, forcing its residents to congregate within the more habitable territory of Kuo Kuana and its surrounding forests. There aren’t many settlements outside of the main city, and Menagerie is not host to a Huntsman Academy or any official Primary Combat Schools. However, members of the White Fang receive their own form of informal combat training that brings combatants to the same level as Huntsmen. TIME PERIODS Pre-Volume 1 - The four Kingdoms maintain a steady peace, though there are stirrings of the uprising of certain factions such as the White Fang. Despite this, there isn’t too much blatant conflict within any of the kingdoms. The Huntsmen are largely focused on the eradication of Grimm. Volume 1-3 - The four Kingdoms maintain a steady peace, but the faction known as the White Fang have risen to prominence as terrorists rather than freedom fighters and civil protestors. Criminal activity is on the rise, resulting in large-scale Dust thieving operations across the kingdoms, but most notably within Vale. Certain kingdoms, such as Atlas and Vale, are noticeably on guard. Post Volume 3 - Beacon Academy was attacked during the Annual Vytal Festival, and subsequently fell alongside the kingdom after the Grimm overtook the capital city. Vale is considered a fallen kingdom, and many of its residents have fled to the other three kingdoms. Beacon is no longer active, and the threat that cause it to fall remains unknown. The kingdoms are uneasy, and Atlas has isolated itself, ordering an embargo on trade and immigration. Professor Ozpin is proclaimed dead. Post Volume 5 - Haven Academy falls after its headmaster is killed and is revealed to have been working with the forces that caused the Fall of Beacon and the kingdom of Vale. The attack and its details are hidden from the public, but the Academy was considered compromised and shut down for the foreseeable future, forcing its students to transfer to other Academies. Mistral is in disarray, but lives on as a kingdom. Post Volume 8 - Atlas falls, both figuratively and literally. After the fall of Beacon, the destruction of Vale and the shut down of Haven Academy after its Headmaster was revealed as a traitor, Atlas was next to be targeted. This time, however, a woman named Ruby Rose revealed the perpetrators of all three events - Salem, an immortal woman who seeks the destruction of humanity. The true purpose of Huntsman Academies is revealed, alongside the existence of Relics, Maidens and Magic. While both Atlas and Mantle are destroyed, most of its people were evacuated through the use of a Relic, brought through portals to Vacuo. An entire kingdom is brought to Vacuo’s doorstep, causing an influx of Grimm attacks and fostering unrest among Vacuo’s already harsh and untrusting people. The kingdoms of Atlas and Vale are no more. IF YOU WANT TO BE CONNECTED TO THE MAIN/SECRET PLOT Unknown to the public at large, an immortal woman known as Salem is working to destroy humanity. She has the ability to control Grimm, and wields true magic, which most do not believe exists. She seeks to obtain four relics, which will summon two gods that will judge humanity when gathered together. If humanity is not united when they are summoned, the Brother Gods will destroy them all. Salem wishes to do so in the hopes that the Brother Gods’ destruction will kill her in spite of the immortality they cursed her with. There is a secret purpose for the Huntsman Academies: to guard the four relics that Salem seeks out. Each one has a vault far beneath the Academy grounds, accessible only by the headmasters and their most trusted allies. The vaults all host a relic, and can only be opened by their respective Maiden. Fall is linked to Vale, Winter to Atlas, Spring to Mistral and Summer to Vacuo. The Maidens are four women who are given true magic. There is one Maiden for each season, and their powers are said to pass on to the last woman they think of before they die. This makes them a target of Salem. Nobody knows about magic, Salem, the relics, the Brother Gods or Maidens except for the headmasters and government heads of each Kingdom. Time Period modifiers - Vol 1-3 (Cinder Fall, an agent of Salem, possesses half of the powers of the Fall Maiden after stealing them. This has left the current Fall Maiden comatose, safeguarded within Beacon as a closely kept secret.); Post vol 3 - (Cinder Fall, an agent of Salem, has fully acquired the powers of the Fall Maiden.); Post vol 5 - (Cinder Fall is the Fall Maiden, and a bandit known as Raven Branwen is the Spring Maiden); Post Vol 8 - (Cinder Fall is the Fall Maiden, Raven Branwen is the Spring Maiden, and Winter Schnee is the Winter Maiden.)
