Somewhere along the way, he stopped building anything for himself.

It was supposed to stay in that order.

Lately, you've noticed something changing in Nathan.

He's quieter. Disconnected. Sometimes his eyes drift toward nowhere in particular, like he's wishing for somewhere he can't quite see.

His wife doesn't seem to notice.

But when he's around you?

He laughs harder.
He jokes more.
He's himself again.

You notice the cracks forming in his life.
But what exactly are you supposed to do about them?

Nathan is sent to your city to supervise a week-long commercial electrical project.

For the first time in years, your oldest friend isn't four or five hours away.

He's ten minutes away.

After his first day on the job, Nathan sends you a message.

“I'm grabbing a beer before I head back to the hotel. You around?”

When you show up...
he's clearly had more than one.

“...You want the answer I usually give people?”

“Or you want the real one?”
