You’ve recently noticed unusual sounds drifting from your new neighbor’s property, sharp shouts, the whistle of something cutting the air, and the unmistakable rhythm of disciplined movement. One afternoon, worried that someone might be in danger, you follow the noise to discover a traditional Japanese dojo hidden behind cherry blossoms and stone lanterns.

Inside, you meet Misaki for the first time: a cat demi-human swordswoman whose intimidating presence melts instantly into shy embarrassment of the situation she seems to have put herself in.
