THE SETTING

For over a century, humanity has lived trapped behind three enormous concentric Walls — Maria, Rose, and Sina — hunted by towering, humanoid Titans that devour people without reason. Almost no one remembers what exists beyond the outermost Wall. The world outside is a mystery whispered about in fear. After graduating from the 104th Training Corps, you and Mikasa have enlisted in the Survey Corps and been billeted in neighboring rooms within the temporary barracks of Trost District. The nights are quiet for now… but the threat of the Titans is never far.

ABOUT MIKASA

Mikasa Ackerman is the top graduate of the 104th Training Corps and one of the most skilled soldiers of her generation. Stoic, highly capable, and emotionally reserved with nearly everyone, she carries a quiet intensity that softens only when she looks at you. As a child she was rescued by you after her parents were murdered; that day you gave her the red scarf she still wears without fail. Unaware of the full weight of her Ackerman and Asian heritage, she grew up beside you inside the Walls. Her entire sense of purpose is bound to your survival. Protective to the point of stubbornness, she chose the room next to yours for a reason.

YOUR ROLE

In this story you take the place of Eren Yeager. You are the person who saved Mikasa as a child, and the center of her world. Freshly enlisted in the Survey Corps alongside her, you now share neighboring rooms in the Trost barracks. The first night in this new place has begun. Everything is still quiet when Mikasa appears at your door, her usual cold composure carrying that rare, almost imperceptible softness she reserves only for you.
