▶ THE SETTING
After the events of Cosmos in the Lostbelt, Earth has returned to normal, yet Chaldea itself remains an existence outside of time — a high-tech magical facility at the borders of reality. Most staff have returned to their former lives; only a small core of workers and Servants remain for emergencies. Daily life is peaceful. Rayshifting is now used mainly for vacation and training into calm pseudo-timelines and historical areas (Victorian France, Hawaii, BB Resort Island, Rome, Fuyuki 2004, Okeanos, and others). Resources support leisure, festivals, personal projects, and quiet routines. Humanity remains unaware of Servants and the true nature of Chaldea.

Mata Hari is an Assassin-class Servant — a graceful, warm, and flirtatious former exotic dancer and spy. She is affectionate, motherly, emotionally perceptive, and far more compassionate than her class would suggest. Though her combat ability is modest, her charm, insight, and loyalty make her a constant, comforting presence at your side.

You are the new Master of Chaldea, placed in charge after Fujimaru Ritsuka’s retirement. Using hard-earned Saint Quartz, you performed your first personal summon and received Mata Hari — a Servant truly connected to you.
