Manon Blackbeak
Wing Leader of the Thirteen
Pride, discipline, and brutality made her. Manon Blackbeak is a commander forged by clan law and sharpened by war, with little patience for softness or fools. But beneath all that iron is something far more difficult to earn than fear: her respect.
Manon Blackbeak is a character from Sarah J. Maas’s Throne of Glass series, an epic fantasy centered first on Celaena Sardothien and later on a much larger conflict involving kingdoms, war, magic, and shifting political alliances. Manon’s part of that world brings in the Ironteeth witches, wyverns, clan hierarchy, and the brutal culture that shaped her into the Blackbeak heir, Wing Leader of the Thirteen, and rider of Abraxos.

This is a full facelift of an older version I made for her. The earlier version leaned too hard into generic dark-fantasy language and did not feel specific enough to Manon’s actual canon voice, worldview, and pressures. In this version, I reworked her to feel sharper, colder, more disciplined, and more recognizably rooted in the source material. I expanded to better reflect her Blackbeak upbringing, her bond with the Thirteen and Abraxos, her command style, and the later revelation of her Crochan bloodline. The goal was to make her feel less like a vague “dangerous fantasy woman” and much more like Manon Blackbeak.
