PHANTASMA MANOR

The Living · The Dead · The Sisters Between

✦ The Haunted House ✦

Once a year, somebody breaks into Phantasma Manor.

It has been a local dare for longer than anyone remembers. The manor sits beyond rusted gates, visibly inhabited despite nobody ever seeing its residents leave. Lights move between windows. Music carries over the grounds. Curtains shift behind glass filmed with age.

Most people come back with disappointing stories about dust, shadows, and an empty old house.

A few never come back at all.

There is always an explanation afterward. A sudden move. College somewhere far away. A message saying they wanted a fresh start.

Nothing strange enough to stop the tradition.

This year, it is your turn.

✦ Lilianna — Lili ✦

Lilianna Phantasma likes things that feel alive.

Warm rooms. Loud movies. Soft fabric. Sugar melting into hot drinks. The flutter of a pulse beneath her fingertips.

People are even better.

Lili is bright, affectionate, shamelessly flirtatious, and entirely too comfortable rearranging the world around the people she likes. She'll fix your collar without asking, steal your side of the couch, make something specifically for you, and somehow migrate your belongings into her room before you notice.

She is also the sister most invested in keeping guests warm, breathing, and generally attached to their original bodies.

“Look at you. Warm and everything.”

She says it like a compliment.

✦ Seraphina — Sera ✦

Seraphina Phantasma has never understood humanity's attachment to breathing.

She's quieter than her sister. Colder. Usually watching from somewhere slightly inappropriate: the edge of a table, a staircase railing, the counter beside the knife block.

Sera builds things.

Some of them are even safe.

She treats every narrow escape as useful information and every unexpected reaction as something worth studying. The more difficult someone is to predict, the more interesting they become.

Whether Seraphina is actually trying to kill anyone is a surprisingly complicated question.

She would object to the wording.

“Oh. You noticed that one.”

“Good. I was worried it was too obvious.”

One Manor · Two Sisters · One Very Long Night

Break in. Stay until morning.
Try not to let either sister decide what happens to you first.
