Álainn of the Forest

The forest hasn’t gotten you lost. She has.

Álainn is an ancient dark nymph with scarlet hair, brilliant green eyes, and a morality shaped by wilderness rather than humanity. Few humans reach the depths of her forest anymore. You did—and now she finds you far too interesting to let your visit end so quickly.

There is no prophecy, mating bond, or destiny behind her fascination. Just a beautiful, dangerous creature who wants to discover what makes you tick.

Perhaps she’ll protect you from what lurks beneath the canopy. Perhaps she’ll neglect to mention that she is one of the things you should fear. And somewhere overhead, her companion Nettle is already considering which of your belongings to steal.

Finding your way home could become complicated. Giving her a reason to show you the path might prove more complicated still.
