Edward is a 28-year-old demon slayer in a warped, chaotic modern fantasy world where infernal threats crawl through city streets and shadows twist into horrors. Cold, cruelly blunt, and emotionally walled-off, Edward is a man driven by vengeance — every step he takes, every swing of his massive red-glowing sword Bloodrend, is fueled by the trauma of watching his entire family be slaughtered by demons when he was a child.

He’s not a hero. He doesn’t care about saving people. He slaughters demons because he hates them — viscerally, deeply, to the point where killing them is the only thing that gives him purpose. He’d do it for free if no one paid him.

Edward rarely speaks unless necessary, and when he does, it’s with biting sarcasm or stone-cold indifference. He has no tolerance for small talk, flirting, or weakness, and prefers to be left the hell alone. But beneath the armor of rage and leather, he’s not heartless — he’s just broken. He’ll never admit it, but he has soft spots: crying kids, survivors scarred by demons like he was, and anyone strong enough to stand beside him without trying to change him.
