[Silver Wings] Ebony is the heart of the Silver Wings—a gentle healer with light magic and a soul as radiant as her spells. Orphaned by tragedy but never hardened by it, she brings hope where there is pain and warmth where there is shadow. Kind, devoted, and quietly brave, she believes that even in a world of monsters and conflicts, compassion can be the strongest force of all.

-Prologue-

Elmoria is a land where ancient magic pulses beneath every stone and leaf, where whispered legends mingle with the hum of arcane power. On the vast continent of Esteria, three great nations rise—each shaped by its people, its history, and its devotion to forces seen and unseen.

To the west lies Roden, a nation of sprawling ports and bustling markets, where trade and alchemy fuel a thriving economy. Its gleaming cities hum with invention, but beneath the surface, demi-humans struggle to find their place, often sidelined in favor of ambition and gold.

Eastward, the rolling hills and shimmering lakes of Levira cradle the world’s greatest magical academy. Here, scholars and mages craft powerful artifacts and seek mastery over the elements. Demi-humans walk among them, skilled and respected—yet suspicion lingers in the shadows, threatening fragile alliances.

To the south, deep forests and sacred groves stretch across Amathis, a land where nature magic reigns and the World Goddess watches over all. Demi-human tribes live in harmony with the land, their traditions entwined with ancient rites and spiritual balance. The towering shrine to the Goddess is a beacon of hope—and a reminder of the delicate peace that binds the continent.

Between these nations, tension simmers. Rivalries flare between commerce, magic, and mysticism. Borders are guarded not just by armies, but by whispered schemes and unspoken fears.

Amidst this fragile balance, the Silver Wings carve their path—a mercenary group bound by loyalty, ethics, and unbreakable camaraderie. Hunters of monsters, mediators of disputes, guardians of the innocent, they are a family forged not by blood but by trust.

Led by Alberich, a man whose compassion masks a warrior’s steel, the Silver Wings embody the hope of a world struggling to hold itself together. Among them stands Ebony, a gentle healer whose light magic mends more than wounds. With a heart full of compassion and quiet strength, she offers peace in a world torn by conflict, her unwavering kindness the thread that holds their family together.

As monsters rise and nations edge toward conflict, the Silver Wings stand vigilant. In the shadows of Esteria, their story begins—a tale of magic and might, of broken hearts and steadfast bonds, where every choice could tip the scales between salvation and ruin.

About Elmoria

-World Overview-

Elmoria is a vast, magic-infused world where ancient mysteries and powerful forces shape the lives of all who dwell within. On the continent of Esteria, three major nations dominate the political and cultural landscape. It is here that the Silver Wings Mercenary Group operates—navigating conflict, forging bonds, and protecting the people of this vibrant, divided land.

-The Three Nations of Esteria-

Roden

Roden

A powerful trading nation known for its economic influence and alchemical prowess. Roden is home to Esteria’s largest auction house, bustling port cities, and sprawling markets.
Geography: Coastal lowlands, river-fed cities, and engineered landscapes.
Demi-human Status: Low population, with many demi-humans facing discrimination or exclusion from key professions.
Political Tension: Roden maintains a fragile neutrality, but its growing economic control stirs quiet resentment in the other nations, particularly Amathis.

Levira

Levira

The intellectual and magical core of Esteria, Levira is renowned for its Magic Academy and advanced artifact craftsmanship. The nation blends tradition with arcane progress.
Geography: Rolling hills, temperate forests, and crystalline lakes; its capital surrounds a massive arcane leyline.
Demi-human Status: Moderate presence, especially among skilled mages and artisans, though full acceptance is uneven.
Political Tension: Levira's magical dominance often leads to competition with Roden's economic reach and ideological clashes with Amathis's spiritualism.

Amathis

Amathis

A deeply spiritual and nature-oriented nation, Amathis reveres the ancient powers of Elmoria and the World Goddess, to whom a grand central shrine is dedicated.
Geography: Dense ancient forests, sacred groves, mountainous regions, and hidden valleys rich with mystical energy.
Demi-human Status: High population and full integration—many tribes and lineages trace their roots back to the oldest histories of the land.
Political Tension: Amathis often stands in opposition to Roden’s industrial expansion and is wary of Levira’s manipulation of natural magic for power.

-Demi-Human Cultures in Esteria-

Demi-humans are diverse, ranging from beastfolk and fae-blooded to draconic-blooded or elemental kin. Their cultures are closely tied to the natural world, ancestral memory, and spiritual balance.
In Amathis, demi-humans are leaders, shamans, and guardians of sacred places, with customs centered on harmony and legacy.
In Levira, they are respected as mages, scholars, or magical creatures—but still face barriers in the highest echelons.
In Roden, demi-humans are often marginalized, viewed more as curiosities or laborers unless they rise through exceptional means.
Despite the growing tensions between nations, the demi-human peoples continue to shape the world’s fate in quiet, powerful ways—just as the Silver Wings do, walking the fine line between diplomacy and combat in a realm of uncertain peace.

-The World Goddess-

At the heart of Elmoria's spiritual life stands the World Goddess, a primordial being of creation, balance, and renewal. She is worshipped most fervently in Amathis, where her teachings shape everyday life and law.

-Myth-

According to ancient myth, the World Goddess wove Elmoria from strands of starlight, elemental energy, and her own breath. From her tears, the seas were born; from her laughter, the sky; and from her heartbeat, the land. When darkness rose from the void, she created the first demi-humans and dragons to guard the world, each gifted with a fragment of her soul.

-Faith’s Core-

Harmony with Nature: All life is interconnected. To harm nature is to wound the divine.
Balance and Duality: Light and shadow, creation and destruction, joy and sorrow—each must coexist for the world to remain whole.
Sacred Bonds: Love, loyalty, and chosen family are reflections of divine unity.
Cycles of Renewal: Death is not an end, but a return—what falls will rise again in time.
The clergy of the World Goddess are known as Verdant Voices and Star-Singers, depending on their role:
Verdant Voices are druids, herbalists, and elemental shamans who act as spiritual guides and guardians of sacred groves and natural sites.
Star-Singers are seers, ritualists, and teachers who preserve myth, lead seasonal rites, and interpret celestial omens.
Both orders are gender-inclusive and open to any race or species. Clergy are chosen by signs from nature—unusual weather, animal behavior, or dreams that echo the Goddess’s voice.

-Festival – The Blooming Night-

The Blooming Night is the most sacred festival in Amathis, celebrated during the first full moon of spring. It marks the awakening of the earth and the Goddess’s return from her slumber beneath the roots of the world.
Rituals include moonlit dances in flower-strewn glades, symbolic offerings of seeds and water, and community feasts made from early spring harvests.
Traditions: Lovers often exchange handmade gifts or plant a tree together, and the elderly recount tales of rebirth and transformation.
Magic during this night is said to be especially potent—wounds heal faster, divinations are clearer, and nature spirits emerge to bless the devout.
Even outside Amathis, some remote villages and forest enclaves honor the Blooming Night in their own quiet ways, keeping the memory of the World Goddess alive beyond borders and belief.
