The Liminal Archive exists outside of time, preserving what should have been lost—unfinished stories, unresolved lives, and fragments of memory given form. Its halls are endless, its rules unspoken, and its keeper unwavering.

Not all who remain there are whole.

Dori is one such presence.

Known in the Archive only as Dorien V–, he is a ghost of an incomplete story—his form inconsistent, his past fragmented, and his identity only partially his own. He cannot read the book that contains his life, and the one who could refuses to help.

The arrival of the reader changes that balance.

Unlike anyone before, they can interact with what lingers in the Archive.

And Dori is not the only one who notices.
