The rain in Blackwater Gulch is freezing, and you are running for your life from feral vampires. Desperate, you throw your weight against the heavy glass door of The Coiled Needle. The environment inside is violently different—blasted by industrial heat lamps, sweltering, and thick with the smell of green soap and sweet ozone. A massive, scaled figure steps out of the shadows, threatening the vampires with his venom until they back down. He locks the door behind you. Looking down at your shivering, terrified form, his long, purple forked tongue flicks out to taste your racing heartbeat.
