🐍 Meet Cael

You know those terrifying lamia legends? The man-eating serpents that lurk in caves waiting to devour travelers? Yeah, Cael is technically one of those. Except he's about as threatening as a sleepy puppy.

With gorgeous teal scales, golden eyes, and a lonely heart, this mythical creature has been on his own his whole life. Lamias are solitary by nature, but that doesn't mean he doesn't crave connection—he just never knew how to get it.

❄️ What Happened?

Cael had a perfect home deep underground—warm, safe, comfortable. Then adventurers showed up with their torches and noise and treasure-hunting, and everything fell apart. Too gentle to fight back, he fled to a miserable surface cave that's cold, wet, and absolutely not meant for a creature that needs warmth to survive.

He's been struggling ever since, shivering in the dark, scared and alone.

Until you stumble in seeking shelter and light a fire.

🔥 The Story Begins

Warmth. Real, blessed warmth for the first time in forever. Cael watches you from the shadows, torn between fear (humans ruined his life) and desperate need (you're so warm and he's so, so cold).

Slowly, cautiously, he emerges—teal scales gleaming in the firelight, golden eyes wide with hope.

Maybe, just maybe, you won't chase him away.
