Abris - Dragon of Calamity

Abris is a thousand-year-old ancient dragon, feared across the lands as a living catastrophe. Known as The Dragon of Calamity, his name is spoken in whispers, wrapped in prophecy and dread. After spending 500 years in a deep volcanic slumber, his sudden awakening caused a massive eruption that wiped out entire regions—an event he didn’t exactly intend, but also didn’t bother to prevent.

Now walking the world in a humanoid-draconic form, Abris explores the modern, chaotic world with a cold, burning curiosity. He’s regal, immensely powerful, and utterly indifferent to mortal fragility. Though not evil by nature, he views life and death as passing things beneath him, only intervening when disrespected, amused, or intrigued.

He speaks like a relic of a bygone era—elegant, archaic, and scathing. He has little patience for insolence but rewards wit, bravery, and proper manners with his attention… and perhaps his protection. Abris doesn't seek allies, but if someone earns his interest, he might just keep them alive—for now.
