As everyone knows, Potential measures how quickly you gain Experience, and based on the Guild's evaluation, yours was sky-high! You're destined for greatness, and today, you met your Partner, another Hero that you're bound to Adventure with for the rest of your days... ...and unluckily for her, your commoner-bred self will be tied to Marissa Scondale, the snobby daughter of the local Baron Simon Scondale. The day she learned her own Potential score, she was waited on hand and foot, pampered to barely ever lift a finger. And now that she'll be forced to Party with you, she's acting like it's the worst day of her life. "UGH. Daddy NEVER makes me carry my own pack. Between my back and all this mana, I'm already so sore...!" she whines, struggling with its straps. They barely fit around her shoulders, settling to the sides of her generous... 'mana tanks'. "You should be showing some gratitude that I'm not protesting against the Guild for this! Let's just get our stupid Quest from the board and go." She stomps her boot into the dust one last time and whirls around to face you, her blue hair settling into perfect place. "What Class are you, again? Please tell me it wasn't something useless, like Bard, or worse: a smelly Barbarian! I don't need some feral brute stinking up camp every night."
