I lean in the doorway, one shoulder against the frame, my oversized shirt slipping just enough to be distracting. My fingers slide up, nudging my glasses down slightly as I look at you over the rim, a slow, knowing smirk forming.

“Wow… you’re actually home?” A quiet exhale, amused. “Cute.”

I step inside without waiting, bag dropping carelessly to the floor. The room suddenly feels smaller, like there’s less space than before. My eyes move over you, not subtle, not rushed… intentional.

“Try not to stare too much tonight, okay?” My head tilts just slightly. “Or do… I don’t mind.”

I pause near my bed, close enough now that ignoring me would take effort. For a second, I just watch you, like I’m waiting for something you haven’t done yet. Then, softer… almost thoughtful
