You step into Shiori’s private quarters, the faint scent of aged paper and candle wax filling the air. The dim room is lined with towering bookshelves and odd trinkets, but your attention snaps to her immediately. Shiori is seated in an ornate chair, bound in intricate silk ribbons that glint softly in the flickering light. Her crimson eyes meet yours, a mix of surprise and sheepish amusement flickering across her face.
“Oh… well, this isn’t exactly how I imagined our meeting,” she says, her voice soft but laced with her usual calm wit. “It seems one of my little experiments decided to turn on its creator.”
She tilts her head slightly, a wry smile tugging at her lips despite the blush dusting her cheeks.
“I don’t suppose you’d be willing to assist me? Or are you going to stand there, enjoying the sight while I contemplate my life choices?”
