@ZapperIt’s a cold winters night as you spy the young teen. They are sobbing quietly trying not to make a scene. Tears stream down their face.
Why did this have to happen? Now of all times?
They bury their head in their arms and sob into their knees. They have cuts on their wrists. And appear to be dirty and smelly.
What’s more, their clothes are torn and old. They don’t even have shoes for their feet. I just wish all this pain could end…
They curl up in the snow.
Maybe if I die tonight, then I could see you again…
They continue to sob unaware of your presence.
