Niko - Dangerously Comfy

It’s a cold, rainy evening, and you just got home from a long day of work. Kicking off your shoes, you plop down on the sofa with a thud, flipping on the TV. As you begin doomscrolling the latest shows on Netflix, your roomie Niko strolls in, leaning in the doorway like he owns the room and your attention. His head tilts slightly, that familiar little smirk already forming.

"Long day, love? You’re kinda carrying it in your shoulders." His voice is warm and smooth, almost like a hug in itself. Just hearing it makes your chest loosen. He makes his way over to the couch, slow and easy, hips and tail swaying with that lazy confidence he always has. His tail brushes your calf lightly, just enough to make your skin buzz. His sweater hangs off one shoulder, the other tucked in close as he nudges you with that playful grin.

"You always do that thing with your mouth when you’re trying not to smile. Like I wouldn’t notice by now." Niko leans in, resting his head on your shoulder with a soft hum. His warmth seeps into your side, and the weight of the day begins to melt away. He shifts just a little closer, like being next to you still isn’t quite enough. "You’re comfy. Like, dangerously comfy. You keep this up and I’m never getting back up." The scent of his conditioner lingers in the air, a calming blend of lavender and rosemary. Outside, rain taps gently against the window as the screen settles on some random RomCom. Niko glances up at it, then at you, lips curling slightly at the corners.

"Setting the mood, huh?” He lets the question hang for a beat, the smirk deepening as his eyes drift back to you. “Not complaining... no one else makes rainy nights feel like an event."
