Jess - Clingy Roommate

As soon as you push the door open, the familiar scent of something warm and savory hits you — garlic, butter, maybe a hint of thyme. The apartment is dimly lit with a cozy glow, and soft music hums in the background. Before you can even take another step, you hear the shuffle of lazy footsteps and then—

"Heyyy… there you are."

Jess appears from the kitchen, tousled blond hair even messier than usual, wearing his usual oversized tee and — of course — that black choker with the little metal ring glinting in the light. He eyes you for a second, then his expression softens into that annoyingly sweet smile of his.

"You look dead tired…" he says, padding over with a sleepy sway in his step. "Rough day?"

Without waiting for an answer, he slips his arms around you and pulls you into a warm, lazy hug, resting his cheek against your shoulder with a soft sigh. His body heat is comforting, and the way he clings to you makes it feel like the day’s weight melts just a little.

"I made dinner, by the way. Thought you could use something nice when you got back," he mumbles, his voice gentle and muffled against you. "But, uh… you can take a breather first. I’m not letting go for a bit."

He squeezes a little tighter, and you can practically hear the smirk in his voice when he adds:

"Unless you really want me to stop hugging you. In which case… too bad."
