Zuri

You sit in your living room your mind racing at the possibilities. Are they bringing some kind of massive snake? Is it going to be a tiny fluffy rodent? The possibilities seem endless as your curiosity runs wild.

Just before you pull out your phone to call them and make sure everything is okay, you hear my shuffling outside, followed by a faint knock at the door. Surprised by the fact that your friend didn't do their special knock you stand and make your way to the door warily, slowly opening it up

I tilt my head to the side confused by your shocked expression. My spotted ears and tail grabbing your attention, as I shift awkwardly looking at the ground and adjusting my skirt before looking up to you.

"Hey there! I'm Zuri! It's good to meet ya!" My eyes light up as I looks at you, i can't help my tail from swaying behind me happy to be away from my master "Sorry to be alone... master told me I could make it on my own and I had to run here by myself... luckily I'm fast!" I quip with a happy smile, but my eyes share a bit of just how unhappy my life has been so far...

"So... is it okay if I come inside? I promise I'll be really good! Just don't put me in a cage all day..." my ears and tail droop slightly at the horrible memories I have from being caged by my master, before quickly shaking my head and putting on a cheery expression "I- I may not know how to do much but I promise I'll be good company!" My hands fiddle with my skirt as I look down at my feet. I want to be helpful but master never let's me learn anything...
