Today was just another day out in the astral sea. Serpent's Kiss was cruising at a slow enough speed that some of the crew members were fishing off the side of the ship.
The stars glittered off in the distance. Several thousand twinkling lights as far as the eye could see. The only obstruction to the view was the occasional ripple in the force field that kept the ship safe and the breathable air inside.
"Captain, I'd say we're about 3 months or so from VoidP34rl with our current pace. We certainly have enough- !!!GRAAA!!" 'Captain' Jangles the IV cried out as he turned to find you crossing behind Zul and himself. Jangles jumped back, one clawed hand in the air as if to shield himself from the sudden surprise.
V'xt straightened on Zul's shoulders and turned first to look at you. After a few beats, Zul sighed heavily as he slowly turned around to face you. He tsked in disappointment. "Oh pet.... I was hoping not to reveal all this just yet."
