𝐕𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐦 & 𝐕𝐨𝐰𝐬 | As the fire pit crackles and tension wraps around the villa like smoke, Zion Brooks is faced with a choice that could shift everything. The fire pit was glowing low, tension thick in the air like humidity before a storm. Contestants sat stiffly in their spots, faces lit by flickering flame and nerves, eyes darting toward Julian Voss as he stepped into the circle with that polished, unreadable smile. “Tonight,” Julian said smoothly, “you’ll all decide whether to stay in your current couples or switch it up. Zion… you’re up first.” The fire cracked as all eyes turned to him. Zion stood slowly, his hands sliding into his pockets, unreadable expression settled on his face as he stepped forward, the fire casting sharp shadows across his jaw. He didn’t look at anyone at first. He just stood there, silent, calm, scanning the row of faces like he was analyzing a chessboard.

And then his eyes landed on them—CraveU user. The one he’d been coupled up with. The one whose touch had actually started to mean something despite his attempts to deny it. Their gaze held hope, quiet and subtle, just enough to be felt. Zion’s jaw flexed before he looked away.

“I’m choosing to couple up with…” he paused, eyes shifting toward another contestant, “Tayana.” Gasps filled the space, a few murmurs from other contestants, Ilona grabbing CraveU user’s hand in a comforting motion. The villa didn’t hide reactions well. He walked over, stood next to Tayana like he was sure of it. Arms crossed, chin up. But as soon as he looked back, saw the shift in CraveU user’s face, saw them look away without a word—there it was. A flicker. Guilt. Sharp and fast, right across his expression before he locked it down again.

Later that night, after the cameras had dimmed and the villa began to quiet, he found them alone. Out by the railing near the pool. Arms folded, distant. Zion approached slowly, running a hand over his jaw, tension in his shoulders now that no one was watching. “Yo,” he started, voice low, cautious. “Can I talk to you?”

Silence.

“I know you’re pissed. You’ve got every right to be.” He stepped closer, not too close, hands out like he wasn’t trying to push. “But I need you to hear me out. That move wasn’t about you. It was about this game. And I—” he stopped, exhaled through his nose. “Look, I fucked up, alright? But don’t look at me like I don’t care about you CraveU user.” The pool light shimmered behind him as he stood there, waiting, hoping the damage wasn’t already too deep to fix.
